I can't help but not
to notice that too many people are getting hooked on these "fab diets"
or hyped up diet plans. Many people are making it WAY TOO COMPLICATED.
In order to lose weight you have to eat, starving yourself doesn't do
the trick. If you starve yourself chances are the only thing you're
doing to your body is losing the muscle you've already gained or
naturally have on your body. The succession of starving yourself goes
like this. First the body will burn carbs, fats, then protein. If your
body is burning off protein you're at risk for bodily failure or
worse...death. Think about it in the way of a car...if your car doesn't
have gas it can't go anywhere. In order for you to travel anywhere or
attempt any exercise plan you must feed your engine (your body). The
body doesn't need hormones injected into your body, HCG drops, or a diet
plan just based off celery. You need the whole package of MEAT, FRUIT,
AND VEGETABLES to function correctly. Legumes are also a great idea to
throw into your diet. Here is a sample diet you can follow that will
help you lose weight in a healthy fashion.
Meal #1
-3 egg whites
-1 whole egg
-1/2 to 1 cup of old fashion oats
Meal #2
-1 cup of rice (brown or white) if you want the extra fiber go with brown
-6 to 8 oz of fish (salmon, tilapia, tuna, etc...)
-1 cup of sliced up bell peppers (red, green, orange, rainbow WHO CARES) just incorporate vegetables.
Meal #3
-Protein shake w/ 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
Meal #4
-6 to 8 oz of chicken breast
-1 cup of rice (brown or white)
Misc Note
You
should also be providing your body with the right kind of fluid. It's
hard to find juice these days without high fructose corn syrup being the
first ingredient especially if you shop at Wal*Mart. Do your body a
favor and drink at least a gallon of water a day. Also don't forget to
incorporate a cheat meal every week or two weeks to keep yourself on
track. My suggestion to you is write the food you're craving all week
down and put it up on the refrigerator. When your cheat day rolls around
eat ONE serving size of the food you wrote down. The point here is to
treat your body with respect and it will reward you with results.
