How I Got Started Bodybuilding/Working Out

I played sports all my life such as football and track & field, but the sport of bodybuilding never meant anything to me until my senior year. My senior year I was inspired by my trainer who was helping me out with agility exercises for football. His name was Heath Ellenberger and he was getting ready for his first bodybuilding show between training me. Seeing Heath put in the number of hours he did just to achieve one little trophy meant something to me because the sport was like none other. I'll never forget the day his dad asked him if he wanted to go to Pizza Hut during his prep phase for his show and he said yeah I'll come along, but I'll have to bring my meal with me. That day I realized that this sport had to be his life. The sport of bodybuilding was a one of a kind to say the least. As I consumed mountains and mountains of knowledge reading up on the sport I realized August 9th, 2010 I wanted to be a bodybuilder. On August 9th, 2010 I was 5 ft. 9 inches weighing in at 150lbs. Today on July 10, 2014 I now weigh 198lbs standing at 5 ft. 10 inches. I'm currently getting ready for the OCB Charm City Classic on Oct. 18, 2014 on my way to achieving my dream as a bodybuilder. Thank you for inspiring me and being you, Heath.
