How many of you don’t like eating plain oatmeal in water? Probably the
majority of people like a little brown sugar in their oatmeal with some
heavy cream, right? Using those additives into stove top oats can be a
little heavy when it comes to caloric intake, but I have a solution for
you! Take your pot of water; add the oats to the water right off the bat!
This will allow your oatmeal to come out rich and creamy just like you
would find at Panera Bread. When the oatmeal looks cooked all the way
through place into a separate bowl. Add a tablespoon of peanut butter
with some apple pie spice and let them sit for a good minute until your
peanut butter has melted completely from the heat supplied by the
oatmeal.
